Pink Work~~~

While looking back over some of my pictures from this year I realized how often I use pink in my work. I made about 60 of these little button bouquets as favors for a Mother's Day Tea. It looks like there's a little pink in just about each one that I made.
And pink takes center stage in the pictures.( I think pink coordinates with almost any color) In the myriad of images from the Vintage Workshop ~ of all the images I seem to choose the ones with pink!
Here's a large collage. Again, a pink background and each of the nine elements has a little pink somewhere. Even my little bluebird I made got a touch of pink!
And pink floss is just the color this button seemed to need! Here are some tiny little 4" dresses I made to tuck into some valentines. Which pops out at you? To me it's the pink but I'm not sure that would hold true for you.
See how tiny - it tucks into the little pink flower pocket.
I think I'll finish my Itty Bitty Book Prom Dresses, have a glass of lemonade and ponder why I use so much pink!

Beverly at How Sweet The Sound has a link to all the "pinkies" participating in Pink Saturday ~~ that's where I'm headed ~~~as soon as I finish my lemonade! {{{ Nancy}}}

  1. Nancy, you are a very wise woman to have all of these bits of pink in your life.

    I agree that pink goes with everything. I haven't found anything that couldn't be complimented by some pink.

    I adore all of the lovely things you have made. Great job.

  12. Thanks so much for the comment. It's so nice to know somebody in this giant blog world. Visit my friend's blog if you have time. www.bootsnflowers.blogspot.com
    We have only lived in this area for 4 years. We came for the cold and windy panhandle of texas north of amarillo. I really wanted to take bootsnflowers to Canton and it was the right weekend, I just thought we would probably get sick from the heat. My hubby and I took our trailer and camped last july, went one morning and didn't last long. Toooo hot. Hugs Gin
    PS really wanted to participate in your pet show, but not enough time while I had company. Oh, by the way I bought the cutest pink skirt in SPICE in Waco.
