Pink Saturday

YYYHappy Pink SaturdayYYY

There on her blog you will find a long list of blogs just chock full of all things PINK. Do stop in for a visit.

The tags in the above pictures are some that I'm working on for

The Roost.

Pink Saturday and Valentine's Day go hand and hand. This week I've also been working on a Vintage Ephemera swap hosted by Julie at

Cupcake DD.

This is for my partner Cynthia
We were to eat a box of valentine candy and then decorate the box and fill it

with vintage ephemera.Since I'm doing WW it was fortunate (or not) that I saved my box from last year. Here's what I put in the box and in the pink altered Crystal Lite tube!

I don't think Cynthia reads my blog because if she does I'll ruin the surprise!

A sweet little bracelet with verses from Corinthians.... and a daisy hanky

and a heart pin for my valentine swap partner!

I'm curious...Do you send valentines, anymore? Do you decorate your house? Make some valentines whether you have kids or not - it's just so much fun and whoever gets one will absolutely love it.

  1. I have read some of your posts. I have seen the works of art you have displayed. I liked the same and would love to revisit your website.

If you like short stories and paintings, then a visit to my blogs would be an interesting one for you. I assure you that you would get value for the time spent in reading my literature and the articles on paintings.

  2. Nancy, I love, love, LOVE what you did here. Just precious. And yes, I do send some Valentines. I think it's a wonderful holiday, and I like to send things to my friends who are single so they know they are loved. And of course, I like to find something special for Mr. Magpie. :-)

Thanks for sharing your goodies with us.

    Happy Pink Saturday...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  9. I can't begin to imagine the delight on your swap partner's face when she opens the heart candy box and sees all the tiny treasures in each little compartment. What a clever idea.

Yes, I send Valentines to family and friends, plus the shut-ins from our church. But mine are store-bought. I should really look at my scrapbooking supplies and come up with something more creative.

    Blessings, Lana

I'm a fellow Texan, too! So glad you stopped by my blog, as it allowed me to find yours! I'd love to dress baby Keaton in "manly" pinks but I'm sure his dad wouldn't let me!

That little blue heart pin is precious! And yes, I decorate for Valentine's Day, too.
