Sunday Words To Live By

cl58

“"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best -- " and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called”

What a nice weekend…sharing meals with friends but oh Pooh!  I really need to eat less honey!

Joining Tracey at Notes From A Cottage Industry for Sunday Words To Live By.  Thanks, Tracey.

  6. Ahhhhh, what an adorable post, Nancy. You are such a gifted blogger!! My little grand girl demands honey with every meal....to dip her bites in! :) She's got the right idea...life is too short to not sweeten things up a little!

Thanks for your comments on my post just now! Gads...you have been married LONGER than us! I didn't think there were older-weds around! :) My sister was my maid of honor...the one next to me in that photo. She was 18. My bridesmaid was my college roommate and apartment mate...until we got married and forced her to move out! :) Actually, we kept the apartment cuz she was moving to the West Coast anyway. I neglected to share that we couldn't afford a real photographer for the wedding, either, so a friend took pictures...on slides! Most were horrible. Years later, my hubby had some of the better ones made into a little "wedding album" for our anniversary.

Hope all is well with you....I'm not seeing much FB activity from down there!! Oh and speaking of down there, my son and family are in the SA/Waco area visiting my DIL's family. I told my hubby that 12 years ago WE were in SA (later drove to New Branfels to explore) to visit the River Walk for our 30th Anniversary. Now, on this one, our son is there! :) Wish we were, too.

Thank you for the big hugs across the miles....I felt them!

    L, Dana
