Easter Bunnies

I never did get around to sharing any of my Easter things last week so before it all gets put away here are a few of my favorite things.

I love all my little bunnies. This one from my best friend a few years ago -

and this one from my sister in law last year – made of hydrangea petals.

This is new to me this year – a Lefton piece from the '50s.  For some reason I have developed a passion for these adorable pieces made in Japan mid century.  It's like they jumped right out of the cute cards we love so much.

We had a wonderful Easter dinner – in the yard! I completely forgot to take any pictures beforehand but here's one when almost everything is put away.

I absolutely don't want to sell this set – I loved having dinner outside like this so I'm trying to convince my husband to keep it and just store it between uses!  Hopefully we'll get the bed planted with flowers soon. Crazy weather everywhere though. Droughts, tornados and wildfires – I hope you were safe and had a wonderful Easter wherever you were.

I'm joining Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for Pink Saturday.  Have a wonderful weekend. xoxo Nancy

  7. First, KEEP THAT TABLE AND CHAIRS!! They are wonderful. I love it that you had your Easter dinner outdoors beneath that tent. I know it was spectacular.

I love your Easter decor, Nancy, and I really, really love your mid-century Japan items. I agree, vintage doesn't count as we try our best to buy "made in the USA" items.

Made in Mexico does bother me, but not as much as Made in China. The only reason it does is because so many jobs were lost in the US when businesses chose to cut costs and send the jobs over the border. However, I'm with you.....I don't get as enraged as I do over the overwhelming MAJORITY of the products we have to choose from coming from China.....on top of the huge debt we now owe to that country. I do know it's a very complicated thing..jobs being outsourced to save money by the businesses....often times they were made to actually save jobs in the long run. I don't boycott everything....you just can't. Heck, there are no tomatoes on our shelves that don't come from MEXICO during most of the colder months....and I love the Avocados and the tequila. :) I just want to be more diligent that I have been about supporting more USA businesses. And I love your idea about putting that information on our sidebars!!! Let's do it.

I hope you have a great Pink Saturday. We had glorious weather today....even went to an outdoor art fair tonight....what a fun outing.

Now, I'm ready to crash...I'm too old for having a night life any more!!

  11. Happy Pink Saturday Nancy Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share today. Please tell your husband, you can NOT get rid of that table and chairs, as it is SO perfect for dining outdoors. Makes you feel so royal under the tent and all. What a fabulous way to have dinner. I love it.

I can't wait to see the flower bed in amongst the head and foot board, as I know it is going to be breathtakingly beautiful. What a creative way to display floral. The brass will only become more beautiful in time as it weathers.

Love your pink hydrangea bunny. How sweet is that. Your newest addition is adorable. I too, love those playful little oldies. This Lefton piece is just exquisite. Thank you for sharing it with me today.

Have a glorious weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
