Merry Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday to all of you. I'm sure everyone is incredibly busy but I just wanted to thank Beverly for so faithfully hosting this fun event for us each and every Saturday. That's me in the middle on my way to Bunco... (don't confuse me with Santa Claus [by my friend Karen Harvey Cox]) ...in my rooster sweater and my snowman pin and earrings - really, you can't overdress for Bunco can you??!? I'm actually putting a recent picture on here for incentive to lose the 40 lbs (okay we're being honest here) 50 lbs I've gained over the past two years!!! So next year I'm going to Weightwatchers and starting a walking routine. So who wants to be my exercise partner? Nutrition coach? I'll be taking sign ups so just leave me a comment and get your pink warmups ready.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!! Love, Nancy

  2. Good Pink Sat. to you!!!
First, I loved your previous post--oh, my, I am drooooooling over that light up Santa! (I have several, but none as cool as that one!!)
Second,I have also been in a Christmas decorating funk! I finally finished most of it yesterday a.m. just in time for a progressive luncheon! I think the economy is weighing heavily on my mind and just has kinda beat down my spirit a bit. Gotta snap out of it, though, and not waste any more time being down about it.
Third, I am a life time WW member--although I am over my goal weight (which was way tooo low). I am at a realistic and healthy weight, now. However, I haven't been as good about exercising since the fall, so I will be doing better with that. We eat very healthy here since my husb. had a h. attack 7 years ago. I know all about the sat. fat., trans fat, low sodium way of cooking. Even with all of that and my exercising, my cholesterol was still high, so now I have to take a pill for that! Sometimes those genetics just don't care what ya do!! :)
I also miss my sister terribly. She died nearly 20 years ago at the age of 40. I don't have many relatives on my side of the family--but we are heavy with great ones on my hubby's side!
I am having Christmas Eve here this year--it will be the first time my kids and their cousins from my husband's side have all been together for Christmas in a few years--this year we have 2 new little 2nd cousins who will be meeting for the FIRST time! Life is good!
    OK, I'll stop, now!
Whoops, I just need to say--Happy Pink Sat!! L, Dana
PS You need to give that Christmas Chicken a perky plaid bow!! ;)

My mother & her friends use to play. I remember hiding out in my bedroom listening to them talk & laugh

  12. Happy Pink Saturday! I didn't realize there was that much pink stuff out there. I don't think I have even one pink decoration at my house??? I have been sick for the past 3 weeks and I haven't put out as much as I usually do. It almost doesn't seem like Christmas without all of those decorations! Just a side note. I bought The Night Before Christmas for my 4 year old this year. I read it to him and at the end it said Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night. I was outraged. That book is going back to the store it came from. Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!!!
