Tag You're It!

Happy December - only 24 days until Christmas and what have I done? Well - the church is decorated.

Our store is sort of decorated - at least it's cleaned and shined and spiffed up.

I ironed about 15 Christmas aprons for the store.

I made a wreath out of the crochet pieces that I bought at auction with the aprons.

And my tags for December are done.

Yea – I actually made 2 tags for each month this past year.

I finished 20 different tags for Elizabeth at  Creative Breathing  Christmas tag swap.

and decorated a box to put them all in!

and I finished my Itty Bitty Book Club New Years Tags!

And it's only December FIRST! So even though my house isn't decorated I've got plenty of time.  I've ignored Pinterest , however – hahaha.  Looking at all the stuff there is inspiring if nothing else!  We have a month of Christmas Pink Saturday's to look forward to this month.  Thanks to Beverly looking at everyone's Christmas decorations is as much fun as Pinterest!

And after four years on Windows Live Writer I just figured out how to make pictures "clickable" to original size!

  13. Good morning!!

I looked at your post last night...but was so danged tired I couldn't comment. SO, just as I am about ready to dash off to church, I had to take some time to check in with you and actually comment !!

Your church looks wonderful!!! They don't decorate our church until we're ready for Christmas masses. I wish they would at least put the trees up, but everything is saved for the 24/25...well, cept the Advent wreath, of course! :)

How I would love to see your shop in real life...it looks amazing in your photos...and I love that wreath idea!!!

You have been very busy with your awesome tags and exchanges..you're making me feel very inferior! :)

My sale was good!! I sold almost every thing I'd made and all but a few of the vintagey things I'd brought. I was exhausted, however, and crashed really early last night. My van is still crammed with display pieces, boxes, etc. Have to address that when we get home. We're heading to our son's after mass....I promised my DIL I'd help her with her decorations, however, she has put most of them out and up she says, but isn't happy with what she's done. I'm sure they look great....she just needs a little moral support in these late pregnancy days:)

Man, you really wanted that Crock pot!! :) I just giggled when I saw that story in my comment. The shoppers are in fired up crazy mode. I try to stay away from them and find creative ways/times to snag the few items I'm buying. We do mostly gift cards..but I still have to pick up little things for folks to "open"...and some times that's more of a hassle than actually buying one big item.

I have done zero decorating here....I hope I can carve out some time tomorrow, cuz T, W and Th are already taken with other things I have to do. My lips are already forming the works "bah humbug"....I gotta get a grip on it! :)

Must boogie so we can get to church.

Have a wonderful day and HPS to YOU!!!

    L, Dana
