Today is Wordless Wednesday which is perfect because I have no words. It’s hosted by Dixie in French Lique, TX and today’s subject is blogger’s choice. I think my subject will be “Heartache”.
Nancy... what a sweet post remembering Lilly... maybe that's a better name for your post, instead of heartache... because you'll remember her and her antics and it will make you smile.
Nancy I'm so sorry that you lost your sweet companion. I've not been around much and didn't see your last post. Cushing's is a very difficult disease to treat. Be comforted that your sweet girl is no longer in pain, and she surely will be waiting for you across the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs, Kathy
What a sweet, beautiful face Lily has... I moved onto your previous post and it brought tears to my eyes. It was a poignant story that I will be keeping for myself. Find comfort in that Rainbow Bridge. Sue
Oh I am so very, very sorry that your sweet girl is gone....I know how your heart is aching so...mine is hurting for you. It's so terribly sad to see your beloved furry family member suffer..and yet so hard to let them go...we want to keep them with us forever. She IS in heaven and she's pain free and I hope she found my sweet kitty Buffy (the most wonderful cat ever put on this earth) cuz I'll bet they can be very good friends.
Howdy Nancy I am so sorry for your loss ,yet so glad Lilly left you with so much love in your heart and warm happy moments to remember. May the pain subside quickly so you can enjoy her legacy of love with much more ease and comfort . Blessings and hugs to you . Thank you for sharing with us today. HUGS
I am so sorry about Lilly. I read your previous post. She was just beautiful. I remember reading the poem Rainbow Bridge after losing my first dog. I just couldn't read it all the way through today...too many happy memories.
I think it was sweet to lay Lilly to rest next to the arbor. I hope that will give you some peace.
Nancy what a beautiful post for your sweet Lilly~~I know how your heart hurts. We lost our sweet KittyBoy this past November and I had never lost a pet before. It is a comfort to know that we will see them again in heaven. Give yourself time...I still well up at times just thinking about him. Bless your hearts~~ Hugs, Lynn♥
Hi Nancy, I've had you in my thoughts since I read about your loss of dear Lilly....I have to be up and gone at the ungodly hour of 5:30 am (Bonnie and I are doing a wee little sale in the a.m....it's outdoors and it's supposed to reach 100 and we're OLD!!!) but I just wanted to tell you, again, how I hurt with you over your little loved one. The good ones are forever in our hearts--just like humans, but maybe even more so---they're so innocent and good....they don't deserve anything but a sweet, sweet life and a peaceful farewell. I think that's what your girl experienced. L, dana
