I wasn't going to put out much fall or Halloween stuff this year but something came over me this week. I especially was not going to buy anything related to Halloween but at a Ballet Austin fundraiser last Saturday night I found myself powerless over this little witch. Come closer...
That's right...closer
She's just the sweetest little witch from the tip of her nose to her...
tiny jeweled toes.
This explains it!
I think the answer lies in her tiny pink hand...she cast a pink spell on me. Well, what better spell to be under than a PINK spell.
Thanks to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound who holds us "spellbound" every Saturday!
For a fun blog to visit I think you'll enjoy a visit to Fi Fi Flowers...it's tres magnifique!
Have a Bewitching Saturday! xoxo Nancy
Great pictures. Thank you for sharing them with us this week. Love the bling on her shoes. Have a Happy Pink Saturday :)
ReplyDeleteI can see why you couldn't resist! Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteWhile I was at Beverly's I just put my cursor on one of the list of Pink Saturday participants and clicked. I am so glad it was you. Your blog is so pretty. The music is very nice and I see you live in Austin. Our son works for Sun Micro Systems, or whatever their name is now. He lives outside of Austin. I am not a regular on PS but pop in sometime. Come by for a visit in the bluegrass.

Well!
ReplyDeleteI can certainly see why you had to bring her home!
Who could pass HER up!?
How fabulous! Nobody could resist those gloves & boots!
ReplyDeleteWe don't really embrace Halloween in the UK (although we are catching up fast) and I never saw house decorations as I have on our PS group - I didn't know people did this! I'm certainly going to next year... then go straight into the Christmas decorations immediately after!
Happy Pink Saturday
I would have had to have her to!

Sorry I'm a little late. Seems like when the sun is out I feel a desperate need to go outside and run errands or just life my face to the heavens and soak in the last rays before winter hits my neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteIt's always so much fun to share in the pink goodness of the blogs gathered together for Pink Saturday. A collection of some of the nicest women and prettiest blogs in cyberspace!
Wishing you a weekend filled with l♥ve and sunshine!
What a find...was she in the silent auction? I know what you mean about swearing off more holiday decor... I found a couple of cute Halloween treasures at the Garden Ridge Women's Club show on Saturday..."maybe I'll use one in a future swap" I reasoned with myself..."these are being offered by novice crafters who need to experience a successful first show" I added to justify breaking the pledge I had made to myself to buy nothing...Your little witch looks so happy and she seems to have made herself right at home...I'll bet she casts only happy spells and that she'll wiggle her nose just so and will be a great help in all future holiday preparations! Happy Pink weekend
ReplyDeleteNancy, I can see why you couldn't resist her. And it was a fundraiser right, so all for a good cause! If you need any more rationalization, let me know, I'm the queen tee hee. Kathy
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday a day late! I can see why you couldn't pass up that sweet witch! Please stop by my blog-I'm doing a giveaway until Friday, 10/23. Hugs, Leslie
