Bluebonnets - God's Gift To Texas

Late for Blue Monday...story of my life! Go here to visit Smiling Sal for a list of blogs participating. For my post a few pages from a book I work on every few months:

Into Each LifeA little rain must fall...
It's what makes the flowers grow. Thank you, Lord, for the rain last week!

This is what it should look like soon in the Texas Hill Country but we've been in a drought for the past 18 months so not this year. This is our church and cemetary. It's where my sister is buried.

Everything will come again! The bluest of blessings to you....Nancy

  4. Gorgeous bluebonnets! It's been almost thirty years since I was in Texas during bluebonnet season. Sorry it's not going to be so good this year. Great shot for Blue Monday!

  5. Oh, how I love our state flower! I hope the rains come and they bloom brighter than ever. We don't have them out here in West Texas unless we plant them. I've never done it but sure am tempted.
    GREAT Blue post!
