When I first started this blog it was something I wanted to do and something I enjoyed doing. Actually, building an audience or making money was never my goal for this blog. I have always found blogging to be relaxing. Lately, however, writing a post is becoming a bit stressful. I do it less and less and not doing it makes me feel like I’ve left something undone. So I’ve decided to take a break until fall – unless I have something so important it just can’t wait. I need to focus on my Etsy and Ebay listings and getting my house organized. I think I’ve done this for five years and now I need to refocus, renew, refresh!

ReplyDeleteNANCY. . . .say it ain't soooooooo! I know how you feel about needing to be on the computer less. . .but you know the saying "all things in moderation"!! I sure hope you will hang in there with your blogging. I'm no one to talk because I certainly don't spend any where near the time at it as I did when I first started 4 years ago, but I can't imagine totally going away from it. . . and I'm soooo upset that YOU, one of my all time favorite sisters in blog, is doing that. You just made my heart so sad. Jeanne and I were talking today (over lunch) how we are both doing less posting and visiting. . .for some of the same reasons you mentioned....but had we all not been bloggers, just think that we would have gone through our lives without knowing each other!!! YOU have given me so many happy moments over the years and so much great computery advice. . .I treasure the friendship that we've created because of our blogging connection and I truly hope you will be able to continue with My Crafty Little Page once you've taken a break.

I didn't get around to posting this Saturday, but just popped in to see what you've been up to. Wow! well, enjoy the break with a refocusing rest...just don't go middle-age crazy and get a crazy piercing or some tatoo sleeves! You've been sooo 100% with your posts and you've hitched me up with some great folks along the way, but it takes a lot of energy to do what you do...Summers in Texas really take it out of us wilting flowers...and I know fall is your very favorite season. So, see you in September.
