Pink Saturday July 10th

Good (pink) morning to you.  Each week Beverly at How Sweet The Sound hosts Pink Saturday.  Be sure and visit all the pink bloggers on her list.

This week I’d like to do a little baking.  I searched Etsy for some supplies I’d need.

First…this vintage apron

Then I’d need this pink Bauer mixing bowl.

So I could mix up a batch of these…

Cheese Bone Cookies
2 Cups Flour
1 1/3 Cups Shredded Cheese
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 Cup Vegetable oil
4 Tsp Water
Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 to 15 mins.
Stir in flour, garlic, oil and cheese. Knead well, adding water as needed
to make dough stiff. Roll out on a floured surface to 1/2 in thick, cut
out using bone cookie cutters. Bake until cookies are slightly brown.
Cool completely on a wire rack.

I’d then cut them out with these adorable flower garden cookie cutters.

and then I’d serve them to…..

Lillie Louise3

Isn’t she darling??? Who wouldda thunk it? Not me but we are thrilled to have found her. (see my last post)

We really are cooking our own dogfood so I really do plan to make some dog cookies.  We’re heading to the dogpark this morning so here’s wishing you a wonderful Saturday!

xoxo Nancy

  17. Hi Nancy, I love your post, especially the new baby! How did the dogpark visit go? I always have had trouble in dog parks with my dogs, the younger they were the more they would ignore me and run off down to the other side when I'd whistle it's time to go, well, ATTEMPT to whistle it's time to go! ha! Happy late Pink Saturday! Suzie

I also cook for my dogs. You might like to check my post out since you love animals.
I'm sorry to hear about your beloved Lili girl. I know all about Rainbow bridge. We have crossed it many many times. I'm now caring for 2 baby blue birds that feel from the sky yesterday. Mom never came back for them. Another post about that for blue monday. Stay tuned.
Welcome to Lillie Louise, love the name.
    Happy Sunday and belated PS.
